- Place the paper cup upside down. Punch two holes about 1cm apart at two opposite sides of the cup base. I used a hole punch, you could use a sharp pencil.
- Insert one coloured pipe cleaner at each opposite side of the cup base, the pipe cleaner should loop through the two holes from the inside, so that they stick out the top of the cup base. Twist them at the base to secure the pipe cleaners. See picture.
- Use a pencil or a finger to loop the pipe cleaners around to form spirals.
- Stick double sided foam tape between the two pipe cleaners, across the base of the cup centre.
- Fold a small square of paper to from a small fan, approx 8cm square. See picture. Stick to the tape between the pipe cleaners.
- Cut a piece of paper approx. 10cm X 12cm. Cut down the long side stopping about 3cm from the end, see picture. Roll up as shown and stick down to the tape opposite the paper fan.
- Put more sticky tape over the paper fan and strip and fill the base up with pom pom balls, see picture.
- Print the free template above and cut out, stick one onto the side of the paper cup as shown.
- Decorate with sea creature stickers on the side of the cup.
Dolphin Craft
A fun craft that allows children to spin their dolphins around in and out of the waves.
Dolphins are known to be good communicaters, this craft teaches us about speaking to others about Jesus, talking to others about the Gospel.
It works well with the Bible lesson of Philip and the Ethiopian man we read about in Acts chapter 8.

- Use the waves template to cut (one paper plate per child) into the waves pattern as shown in the picture. I used blue paper plates for the waves but you could use white plates and colour them in. This template fits a 9 inch plate. Punch a hole where it shows a black dot on the template
- Cut out the circle with the dolphins images and stick to a 9" white paper plate. Use the waves cut out plate to place over the bottom plate, and use a pencil through the punched hole to mark the centre of the bottom plate, and then punch a hole in it.
- Connect the bottom plate with the waves cut out using a paper fastener (brad pin).
- Attach the Bible verse text box to the front as shown in the picture.
- The bottom plate is held and the dolphins shoud spin around.
- NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN UNDER THREE YEARS AS THE PIN IS A CHOKING HAZZARD.
Shrimp Craft
This cute shrimp teaches about the little shrimp that play an important role in underwater ecosystems.
"Little is much, when God is in it" is printed on one side, with 1 Samuel 16:7b, "...for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart", printed on the other side.

Leviathan Head Craft
A fun craft to teach the important truth that the Leviathan mentioned in the Bible was a real sea creature that is now extinct. A sea dragon that breathed fire and smoke, children love to hear about this!
Dinosaurs were land creatures, but ancient creatures of the sea and air also were created by God that are now extinct.

- Stick the cut out eyes template to one end of the cardboard covered tube.
- Cut out four strips of red tissue paper to make fire, and staple the strips to the top and bottom of the other end of the tube, as shown, to portray fire coming out of the mouth.
- Not suitable for under 3 years as could be a choking hazzard.

Stingray Craft
Stingrays like to hide in the sand. Even when we feel like hiding away alone, God is with us to take care of us, as He was with Elijah in 1 Kings chapter 19.
